When God created earth, He must have thought for a long time on the kind of world He would like. It had to be bright, cheery, full of colour - a reflection of His own personality. And that's what we see all around us if we can get out into the country side.
It certainly wasn't boring and it's something that you never get tired of looking at, even though what we see today was spoiled when mankind turned their back on the creator. It is often the beauty of nature that makes many people wonder if there is a God - after all how could this magnificent planet come about by accident.
But how do we portray God? Quite often the notices and words that we use are the way in which the world sees God. A badly photocopied leaflet, a glum, drab picture and words that have no relevance in this day and age all contribute to people seeing God as being out of date and 'boring'. But those of us who know Him, know that this is completely untrue. So next time you try to attract the public's attention with the Good News of God, try and reflect His true image. You'll be amazed at how people will respond.
